Starmer: Britain is a proud nation built on respect
London, September 14 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that Britain is a proud nation built on tolerance, diversity and respect.
Starmer stressed that people have the right to peaceful protest, which is at the core of the country’s values.
However, he emphasized that they will never tolerate attacks on police officers carrying out their duties, or people feeling fear on the streets because of their background or skin color:
“Britain is a proud nation built on tolerance, diversity and respect. Our flag represents our country in all its diversity, and we will never hand it over to those who use it as a symbol of violence, fear and division.”
