The parties discussed the current developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in light of the ongoing Israeli occupation attacks accompanied by war crimes and widespread violations against civilians.

Minister Shaheen stressed the need to immediately end the war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the importance of protecting civilians, and intensifying international efforts to ensure the application of international law.

The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Palestine and South Africa in various political, economic, and cultural fields.
