Rutte: Albania is a loyal NATO ally
Brussels, September 17 (Hibya) — NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that he met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in Brussels, emphasizing the country’s contributions to defense and security.
NATO Secretary General Rutte said: “Albania is a loyal NATO ally; it invests 2% of its GDP in defense, develops its industry, contributes to deterrence and defense, supports security in the Western Balkans, and assists Ukraine. As a result, we are all safer.”
Rutte also noted that meeting Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in Brussels is always a pleasure for him.
