Saidov: We discussed expanding the partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar
Tashkent, May 20 (Hibya) - Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced that during his meeting with Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Trade Al-Sayyid Ahmed bin Mohammed, they discussed deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Trade Al-Sayyid Ahmed bin Mohammed.
Providing information about the content of the meeting, Saidov said, "We discussed in detail the expectations for further expanding the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar, as well as promising areas of cooperation in trade and economy, investment, finance, transportation and logistics, energy, and infrastructure sectors."
Highlighting the investment potential, Saidov stated, "We emphasized the importance of fully utilizing the existing great potential, deepening the investment partnership, and accelerating joint projects."
Minister Saidov concluded his statement by extending an invitation to the Qatari side with the following words:
"We invited the Qatari side to actively participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held in Tashkent in June this year."
