Saidov holds phone call with Pakistani counterpart Dar
Tashkent, Jan. 12 (Hibya) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov said that during his talks with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, they discussed preparations for high-level and top-level meetings and agreed to consolidate the positive momentum in bilateral relations through a strategic partnership.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced that he held a productive phone call with Senator of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
Providing details on the focus of the talks, Saidov said: “Our conversation focused on preparations for the upcoming high-level and top-level meetings, their core agenda and expected outcomes. We emphasized that further strengthening the strategic partnership and expanding practical cooperation in the near future are our priority tasks.”
Referring to the nature of ties between the two countries, Minister Saidov concluded: “While appreciating the positive changes in relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, we noted that a solid foundation of mutual trust and shared understanding lies at the heart of our dialogue.”
