Macron: Respect for fundamental freedoms is a universal necessity
Paris, January 12 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the state violence used in Iran against women and men demanding their rights.
French President Emmanuel Macron outlined the French government’s position regarding the ongoing events in Iran and demands for civil rights.
Criticizing state intervention, Macron said: “I condemn the state violence that indiscriminately targets Iranian women and men who courageously demand respect for their rights.”
Highlighting the universality of freedoms, President Macron concluded: “Respect for fundamental freedoms is a universal necessity, and we stand with those who defend these freedoms.”
