Saar: The Palestinian Authority must be held accountable for incitement against Israel
Jerusalem, July 31 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar thanked U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the U.S. Department of State for their moral clarity in imposing sanctions on Palestinian Authority officials and members of the PLO.
Saar stated, "The Palestinian Authority must be held accountable for its 'Pay to Slay' policy, which includes payments to terrorists and their families, and for incitement against Israel in schools, textbooks, mosques, and media."
"This important step by the Trump administration also exposes the moral distortion of certain countries that rush to recognize a virtual Palestinian state while ignoring the support for terror and incitement," he added.
