Rutte: Accelerating defense production is one of NATO’s top priorities
Brussels, April 22 (Hibya) – NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made a statement on the alliance’s goals to enhance its defense capacity and the main agenda items of the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara in July.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte highlighted the changes in the global security environment and emphasized the importance of innovation in the defense industry and accelerating production processes.
Sharing priorities regarding defense strategies, Rutte said: “Accelerating defense production and innovation is one of NATO’s top priorities and will be one of the main themes of our summit in Ankara in July.”
Referring to the role of military readiness in a changing world order, Rutte stated: “In today’s more dangerous world, we need strong defenses to protect our security.”
