Russia’s Hmeymim military base opens its doors to hundreds of Alawites and Christians
Moscow, March 8 (Hibya) – President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, announced that Russia’s Hmeymim military base in Latakia has opened its doors to hundreds of Alawites and Christians fleeing massacres.
President Putin stated that Russia’s Hmeymim military base in Latakia has provided shelter for hundreds of Alawites and Christians (mostly women, children, and the elderly) who fled sectarian massacres linked to Syria’s new Islamist security forces.
