President Zelensky announced that Russia launched an attack overnight targeting the Sumy-Kharkiv-Dnipro line using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Zelensky noted that emergency response teams acted immediately, stating, “There were injuries as a result of the Russian attack. Unfortunately, there were also fatalities.”

Emphasizing that such attacks will not go unanswered by Ukraine’s long-range drones, Zelensky added:

“Russian military operations, logistics, and airfields must realize that the war Russia started is now bringing real consequences upon them.”
