UNICEF Executive Director Russell stated that the new year has brought more death and suffering for Gazan children, reporting that at least 74 children have been killed this year.
Highlighting the urgent need for action to end violence, alleviate suffering, and release hostages, Russell said: "The time for a ceasefire is long overdue."
