In a social media post, Fletcher described Abdelatty as an “indispensable partner” in the humanitarian response.
Fletcher said the week's priorities were discussed at the meeting, adding that plans to reach 11 million people who are currently inaccessible were also reviewed.
Fletcher said the gravity of the situation in the region is indescribable.
