Rangel meets Crisis Group President Comfort Ero
Lisbon, September 25 (Hibya) – Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel met with Crisis Group President and CEO Comfort Ero in New York.
According to a statement from Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel and Crisis Group President and CEO Comfort Ero met in New York as part of preparations for Portugal's membership of the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term.
The meeting addressed conflict prevention, early warning mechanisms and developments in major international crises. Portugal was said to want to continue this dialogue during its term on the Security Council.
