Qatar warns of the dangers of global drug production and consumption
Vienna, March 12 (Hibya) - Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Qasim Yakub Al-Hammadi, warned of the dangers of increasing drug production and consumption worldwide.
According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Qasim Yakub Al-Hammadi, participated in the 68th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
Al-Hammadi emphasized that the challenges facing the world today in combating drugs can only be addressed through the implementation of commitments under the three international drug control conventions, ministerial declarations, and support for the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), which is the primary UN policy-making body for drug control.
