Qatar provides humanitarian aid to Sudan
Doha, November 2 (Hibya) – The State of Qatar has sent humanitarian aid to the city of El Dabbah in northern Sudan.
According to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emergency and humanitarian assistance was dispatched to the city of El Dabbah in northern Sudan.
This aid comes as part of Qatar’s firm commitment to support the Sudanese people amid difficult humanitarian conditions, severe food shortages, and increasing shelter and basic needs challenges.
The assistance includes approximately 3,000 food baskets, 1,650 shelter tents, and other essential items provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Qatar Charity to support displaced persons in El Fasher city and surrounding areas.
The aid is expected to benefit more than 50,000 people, and a special camp named “Qatar Al Khair” will be established to coordinate Qatar’s humanitarian efforts.
