Putin: Ukrainian forces will definitely be removed from the Kursk region
Moscow, December 19 (Hibya) — Russian President Vladimir Putin is answering questions from local and foreign journalists and citizens during the traditional annual press conference that started at noon and is still ongoing.
Responding to a question, Putin promised that Ukrainian forces would definitely be removed from the Kursk region, though he refrained from specifying a date to avoid putting pressure on the army.
Putin said, "A. The enemy will definitely be removed. B. An assessment will be made afterward. C. Everything will definitely return to its previous state."
Putin added, "Currently, the 155th Brigade is fighting in the Kursk region, advancing and pushing the enemy out of our territory. Of course, they are not alone. The 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, the 76th and 106th Airborne Divisions, and mechanized and motorized infantry units of the Northern Military District are also fighting there."
