Putin says there will be no more wars if the West treats Russia with respect
Moscow, December 20 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if Russia is treated with respect, there will be no more wars after Ukraine, calling claims that Moscow plans to attack European countries “nonsense.”
During a television broadcast lasting about four and a half hours, Putin was asked whether there would be “special military operations” like those used for the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He replied:
“If you treat us with respect and respect our interests, just as we have always tried to respect yours, there will be no operations.”
Earlier this month, Putin said Russia does not plan to go to war with Europe, but added that Moscow is “ready right now” if Europeans want it.
