Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prevot stated that meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Rubio during this critical time for the world was an important opportunity for a comprehensive and constructive exchange of views between partners.

Prevot mentioned that during the meeting, they addressed key international issues, including Greenland, Venezuela, Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Middle East, and that they evaluated these topics openly and sincerely as friends and allies.

Prevot emphasized that despite differences, there are strong overlaps and shared responsibilities, stating, “As allies, we continue to maintain our determination to advance our common priorities and work together to find solutions to the challenges ahead. I would like to thank Mr. Marco Rubio for this extremely constructive conversation.”
