Czech President Pavel stated that he considers it right for Czechia to participate in the joint statement of European countries on Greenland.

He also shared this opinion with Prime Minister Andrej Babis, adding that "the main issue is to address the security issues regarding Greenland through dialogue among allies within NATO."

Pavel noted that the Kingdom of Denmark is neither a threat nor an enemy but, on the contrary, a close partner and ally within NATO, further stating that "Greenland is an inseparable part of this kingdom. The United States' interest in the security of the North Atlantic region is understandable, and it is a shared area of interest for us as well."

Pavel emphasized that allies are ready to develop common solutions to strengthen regional security and prevent potential threats.
