Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Prevot met with his Finnish counterpart Elina Valtonen during his visit to Finland and evaluated relations between the two countries.

Describing the visit as inspiring, Prevot said, “I have completed a fascinating and inspiring visit to Finland; this visit allowed me to better understand how Finnish authorities work on the resilience of their population, from icebreaking activities in the Gulf of Finland to the maintenance of civil shelters in the country.”

Highlighting the shared values of Belgium and Finland, Prevot stated, “Belgium and Finland have many things in common, especially in the struggle to defend democracy and the rule of law. Our economic cooperation is growing in various sectors such as energy and defense. There is much more we can do together, and we will work on this.”

Concluding his statement with an emphasis on security, Prevot added, “We will also continue to defend Ukraine and stand together against Russia’s malicious activities, as well as against any hybrid threats in Europe.”
