Croatian Prime Minister Plenkovic said he appreciates Trump’s invitation to participate in the Peace Council.

Noting that supporting and advancing the historic peace process in the Middle East is one of the most important and noble goals they share with the United States and the wider international community, Plenkovic said: “In this spirit, the Croatian Government is currently assessing the legal and other aspects of the offer and will, in the period ahead, cooperate constructively with our U.S. and European partners.”

Plenkovic added that they will continue to strongly advocate for preserving and strengthening transatlantic relations and for advancing the cause of peace in the Middle East and beyond.
