The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, emphasized that the Czech education system must offer equal opportunities to all children, regardless of their background or the environment in which they grew up.

Pavel stated:

"I discussed issues such as the inaccessibility of preschool education or the lack of qualified teachers with representatives of the Ministry of Education, pedagogical faculties, school directors, and other experts at Prague Castle. The positive thing is that we know exactly where the problems lie and what the possible solutions are. Based on today's meeting, I will work with the Minister of Education and the Prime Minister to find concrete steps and improve the situation as soon as possible."
