Pavel: Karlovy Vary Film Festival has become a world-class event
Prague, July 9 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel said the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival has become a world-class event and congratulated the organizing team.
Pavel said the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival has demonstrated that a region outside the country's main centers can also host a world-class event. Congratulating the organizers on the successful staging of the festival's 60th edition, he added that he and his wife Eva believe that Jiří Bartoška, one of the festival's long-standing iconic figures, would have been proud of this year's achievements.
