The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to end double standards regarding the suffering and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
In the ministry's statement, it said:
"This call follows the horrific attack carried out by settlers on Friday in the town of Sinjel, north of Ramallah. As a result of the attack, 23-year-old Mohammed Shalabi from the nearby town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiyeh was shot with live ammunition and left to bleed for hours before dying. Seifeddin Mussallat, also 23 and a U.S. citizen, was brutally beaten to death. Palestinian homes were also set on fire and dozens of civilians were injured by settler gunfire."
The ministry urged the international community to act without delay following this terrorist attack.
