Orban: If we accept Ukraine, we also accept the war
Budapest, July 12 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that Brussels claims Ukraine is ready for European Union (EU) membership and shared his assessment on the matter.
Prime Minister Orban emphasized that although Brussels argues Ukraine is ready to join the EU, the reality is quite different.
In his statement, Orban said:
"Forced conscription, a collapsing economy, declining freedoms, and an endless war. If we accept Ukraine, we also accept the war. Who in their right mind would want that?"
