Pakistan Foreign Minister Dar meets with Canadian counterpart Anand
Islamabad, June 18 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone call with Canada’s Foreign Minister Anita Anand.
According to a statement by the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand by phone.
The statement noted that Anand appreciated Pakistan’s support for diplomatic contacts and mediation efforts between the U.S. and Iran, stating that this support contributed to the development of mutual understanding between the parties.
The statement also mentioned that the parties discussed the planned meetings in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
During the call, the positive momentum in Pakistan–Canada relations was welcomed, and commitments to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest were reiterated.
