Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto on the sidelines of the WAICO event in Shanghai.

Dar said the meeting focused on further strengthening Pakistan-Indonesia bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in priority sectors.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and multilateral issues.

The meeting also reviewed key economic and development matters, as well as follow-up on the understandings reached during Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's visit to Pakistan in December 2025.

Dar said both countries reaffirmed their commitment to transforming their shared understandings into tangible progress.
