Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

UNICEF says there is a need to raise awareness about the situation in Sudan and to secure funding for humanitarian aid in the country. During the two-year civil war, attacks on schools and serious violations against children have significantly increased.

In 2022, before the war between the Sudanese army and RSF rebels began, around 150 child deaths were confirmed in Sudan. UNICEF states that there have been 181 attacks on schools in the last two years, compared to 33 in 2022.

Since April 2023, an estimated 2,776 children have been killed, and the number is likely to rise. The number of children in urgent need of assistance has risen from nearly eight million to over fifteen million today.

After two years of civil war, tens of thousands of people have died, and according to the United Nations, about 13 million people have fled the conflict. Famine has been declared in five areas, including Zamzam, Sudan's largest refugee camp.

Last week, militants attacked camps and nearby settlements, including the town of El Fasher. The United Nations reports that 400 people were killed in these attacks.

The British government today invited representatives from twenty countries to a meeting regarding the situation in Sudan. Representatives of the warring factions were not invited.
