Orban: Without Turkey, we would drown in illegal migration
Istanbul, December 8 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that Turkey plays a critical role in stopping irregular migration and expressed his gratitude to President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Prime Minister Orban emphasized that Turkey is a decisive country in combating irregular migration. He noted that Turkey stops hundreds of thousands of irregular migrants at its borders every year, preventing millions from advancing toward Europe.
In his statement, he said: “Without Turkey, we would drown in illegal migration. Every year, hundreds of thousands are stopped at its borders, and millions cannot move forward to Europe. Hungary stands with Turkey and we will ensure that its efforts are recognized. Thank you, President Erdoğan.”
