Orban stated that the Swedish government lectures them on the rule of law.

According to an article in Die Welt, criminal gangs are using Swedish children as killers, knowing that the system will not convict them. Orban added:

“A country once known for order and security is now collapsing: more than 280 underage girls have been arrested for murder, families are living in fear. Heartbreaking. The Swedish people deserve better.”

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson responded to Orban’s remarks by saying: “These are exaggerated lies. It is not surprising that a man who destroys the rule of law in his own country says such things. Orban is in a desperate situation ahead of the upcoming Hungarian elections.”
