Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Police said the attack took place shortly after Friday prayers, in the early afternoon, in the parking lot of a mosque in the city of Örebro, west of the capital Stockholm.

The victim was a 25-year-old man shot dead while leaving the mosque, and the injured was another man in his twenties.

Numerous emergency service teams arrived at the scene, and police warned the public to stay away from the area.

According to Swedish media, police are currently investigating murder, attempted murder, and aggravated firearms offenses, and suspect the crime is connected to local gangs.

Sweden has long struggled with gang violence, with criminal groups often recruiting young people from socially disadvantaged immigrant neighborhoods to carry out assassinations.

Local TV channel TV4 reported that tensions have recently been high between two rival gangs in Örebro.
