No agreement reached in US-Iran talks in Islamabad
Islamabad, April 12 (Hibya) - US-Iran talks held in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad ended without a compromise between the parties.
According to CCTV, topics such as the nuclear program, the Strait of Hormuz, and the lifting of sanctions were discussed during negotiations that lasted approximately 21 hours. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that various issues were evaluated during the talks and that information was exchanged between the parties.
US Vice President J.D. Vance stated that no agreement had been reached and said that the US delegation would return to their country.
