Netanyahu: Only under my leadership can a strong national government be formed against terrorism
Tel Aviv, July 26 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized several opposition figures, saying they had blamed settlers and the Israel Defense Forces following an attack in which two Israeli soldiers were killed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on what he described as a terrorist attack that took place over the weekend and resulted in the deaths of two Israeli soldiers.
Netanyahu claimed that following the attack, several members of the opposition Democrats Party made statements blaming settlers and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Criticizing those remarks, Netanyahu argued that opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot had not condemned them.
Netanyahu said that only a broad-based national government under his leadership would take a firm stance against terrorism, adding that Israel would continue to pursue an uncompromising policy against organizations it designates as terrorist groups and those who support them.
