Moldovan President Maia Sandu issued a statement regarding Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s civilian and energy infrastructure.

Drawing attention to the purpose of the attacks, Sandu said: “We strongly condemn Russia’s launch of the ‘Oreshnik’ missile against Ukraine and its targeting of energy infrastructure and civilian residential areas. This terrorist act aims to intimidate Ukraine and its partners.”

Emphasizing the regional impact of the war, Sandu concluded her statement by saying: “This war is approaching Europe and poses a danger to all of us. We stand with Ukraine.”
