Gold for December 2026 delivery traded at $4,454.70 per ounce, down 0.29 percent, after moving between $4,449.75 and $4,508.97 during the day.
Silver for September 2026 delivery fell 0.15 percent to $65.60 per ounce. Its intraday low was $65.08 and its high was $66.445.
Oil prices also posted limited declines. September 2026 WTI crude fell 0.20 percent to $83.10, while October 2026 Brent crude traded at $88.90, down 0.09 percent.
The September 2026 copper futures contract lost 0.72 percent to $6.5603.
The September 2026 natural gas futures contract fell 0.21 percent to $2.789, while heating oil rose 0.19 percent to $4.2905.
Among agricultural commodities, the November 2026 US soybean futures contract fell 0.11 percent to $1,182, while the September 2026 US wheat futures contract declined 0.06 percent to $652.60.
The September 2026 RBOB gasoline futures contract rose 0.03 percent to $3.1548.
