According to a statement from Bulgaria’s Ministry of Culture, new Culture Minister Evtim Miloshev took over the position from former Minister Maestro Nayden Todorov.

Miloshev said, “I am not coming as a magician, but with morality, ambition, and the tasks facing our long-suffering sector.”

Stating that they aim to make Bulgarian culture more visible, Miloshev said, “I come with the ambition to increase the visibility of Bulgarian culture, build dialogue, and bring better days.”

Maestro Todorov stated, “Minister Evtim Miloshev is not new to state administration; he was a member of the Council of Ministers, and therefore he knows the challenges and opportunities in governance.”
