UAE Air Force and Air Defence Commander Major General Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi met with Royal Australian Air Force Commander Air Marshal Stephen Chappell.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening defense relations between their countries and enhancing cooperation in military fields.

The parties reviewed issues related to increasing the exchange of expertise and best practices in military and operational areas, strengthening joint coordination, and raising operational readiness levels.

As part of the visit, Air Marshal Stephen Chappell also met with UAE Navy Deputy Commander Brigadier General Ibrahim Yousef Al Nuaimi.

It was stated that the meetings were held as part of ongoing efforts to develop military cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint coordination mechanisms.
