In his message, President Milatovic conveyed his sincere congratulations to the people of Tivat. He emphasized that he remembers with respect and gratitude the partisan heroes and martyrs who built the city on the foundation of freedom on 21 November 1944.

Milatovic noted that today Tivat is a modern city with a Mediterranean spirit and a cosmopolitan character, while preserving the Bokeška (Bay of Kotor) tradition and the hardworking spirit of its people.

He stated that he believes the diligence, dedication, and responsible governance of the people of Tivat constitute the strength that will carry both the city and Montenegro into the European Union, adding that he will always be a reliable supporter in this process.

Milatovic concluded his message with the words: “Happy anniversary of Tivat Municipality’s founding.”
