Macron: We will not bow to Russia’s intimidation attempts
Paris, September 11 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron said that the security of the European continent is their top priority and that they will not yield to Russia’s increasing intimidation attempts.
Macron announced that following Russia’s drone attacks on Poland, he decided to deploy three Rafale fighter jets to help protect Polish airspace and the eastern flank of Europe together with NATO allies.
He stated that he gave this commitment yesterday to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, adding: “I also discussed this matter with the NATO Secretary General and the British Prime Minister responsible for the protection of the eastern flank.”
Macron emphasized that the security of the European continent is their top priority and that they will not bow to Russia’s increasing intimidation attempts.
