Macron issues message for Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day
Paris, April 24 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron issued a message marking the anniversary of the 1915 events, highlighting bilateral relations and solidarity with Armenia.
French President Emmanuel Macron, emphasizing the memory of the victims, said: “On April 24, the Republic commemorates the 1915 Armenian Genocide and pays tribute to its victims.”
Referring to the relationship between the French and Armenian peoples, Macron stated: “This is an opportunity to remember, pass on, and highlight the unbreakable bond between France and Armenia, as well as between the French people and the Armenian people.”
