Albares: We must build trust to achieve a lasting ceasefire
Madrid, April 24 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, spoke about diplomatic solutions to reduce tensions in the Middle East and ensure regional stability.
Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, emphasized the need to establish lasting peace in the region, stating, “We must build trust to achieve a lasting ceasefire.”
Referring to the importance of strategic points for regional trade and security, Albares said, “Spain fully supports the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.”
Albares concluded his remarks by stating, “The scope of the peace process should be expanded, and Lebanon should also be included in this ceasefire.”
