French President Emmanuel Macron stated that he supports the Palestinians' right to have a state and live in peace, just as he supports the Israelis' right to live in peace and security. He added that these rights should be recognized by the neighbors of both sides.

Macron said that the upcoming June conference on the two-state solution should be a turning point, adding: "I am doing everything I can with our partners to reach this goal of peace. We truly need it. To succeed, we must not loosen our efforts. Let’s not give in to shortcuts or provocations. Let’s not allow the spread of disinformation and manipulation."
