Luxon: Our government is closely monitoring the tropical cyclone
Wellington, April 17 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon stated that their government is closely monitoring the tropical cyclone that has caused power outages and transportation disruptions.
Prime Minister Luxon called on everyone in the affected areas to follow the advice of NEMA, Civil Defense, and emergency services.
Luxon said, “Please stay away from the water and avoid unnecessary travel to affected areas.”
