Lithuania calls on the EU to impose sanctions on Cuba
Vilnius, January 30 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said that the European Union (EU) should impose sanctions on the Cuban regime, just as it has done against Iran.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budrys stated that the EU should apply sanctions to the Cuban regime in the same way it has to Iran.
Stressing the need for consistency, Budrys said: “Cooperation with the Kremlin’s war machine and brutal human rights violations must not go unanswered.”
Budrys added that Lithuania is calling on its EU partners to impose sanctions on Cuba.
