Leyen: Violence has no place in politics
Brussels, April 26 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made a statement regarding the attack at the White House.
In her statement, Leyen said it was reassuring that those attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner were safe, emphasizing that violence has no place in politics.
Von der Leyen stated, “Violence has no place in politics,” while also thanking the police and first responders who ensured security.
