Lazzarini: Teams share the same fate as the people they serve
New York, June 1 (Hibya) – The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that teams in Gaza share the same fate as the people they serve.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini stated that agency staff operate under extremely hostile conditions.
Highlighting that teams in Gaza share the fate of those they serve, Lazzarini said: “Nevertheless, they continue to provide vital services: healthcare, sanitation, shelter, and psychosocial support — sustaining life amidst the crisis.”
