Lammy: Children should never be pawns in war
London, April 16 (Hibya) – UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated that children should never be pawns in war.
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced that in 2024, he spoke with Ukrainian children who were forcibly deported by Russia but later returned to their families.
Lammy said, "As long as Russia does not return the Ukrainian children it kidnapped, a lasting and just peace is not possible."
