Brussels, March 6 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that heavy rains in the Valencia region may cause flooding.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, announced that heavy rains in the Valencia region could lead to flooding.
Lahbib noted that Spain has requested satellite imagery from the Copernicus Emergency Management Service to support local response efforts, adding: "The EU Emergency Response Coordination Centre is in contact with Spanish authorities and is monitoring the situation 24/7."
