Kazakh Foreign Minister Tileuberdi discusses investment attraction priorities
Astana, September 10 (Hibya) – Kazakh Foreign Minister Muhtar Tileuberdi discussed priorities for strengthening efforts to attract foreign investment during a meeting with officials from the Investment Committee and KAZAKH INVEST.
According to a statement by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Muhtar Tileuberdi held a working meeting with officials from the Ministry’s Investment Committee and “NC KAZAKH INVEST” JSC as part of President Kasım-Cömert Tokayev’s instructions to attract investment and improve the country’s investment climate.
The meeting was attended by Investment Committee Chairman Ardak Zebeshev and KAZAKH INVEST Chairman of the Management Board Sultangali Kinzhakulov, as well as deputy heads, general directors and managers of relevant units from the two institutions.
The meeting addressed efforts to attract foreign direct investment, the implementation of investment projects and the current status of contacts with potential investors. The Minister was also briefed on the development of the National Digital Investment Platform and the preparation and organization processes for international investment events.
The meeting also identified key priorities and objectives for further strengthening efforts to attract investment.
