Baqaei: Failing to name the aggressor is not neutrality
Tehran, October 22 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei criticized the characterization of the clashes between Iran and the United States as the "Iran conflict," arguing that the aggressor must be clearly identified.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei criticized the way the clashes between Iran and the United States have been described in a statement published on his social media account.
Baqaei stated that the term "Iran conflict" does not reflect reality, characterizing the events as an unlawful war of aggression waged by the United States against Iran.
Esmail Baqaei said, "If we lack the courage to identify the aggressor and call aggression by its name, how can we claim to possess the moral courage required to confront injustice, propose workable solutions, or make a meaningful contribution to peace?"
Baqaei stated that peace cannot be achieved by appeasing aggressors, legitimizing aggression, condemning the victim, or abandoning fundamental principles.
